Re: The "content filter" I'm talking about

is being in an environment where people can see what's on my screen as they walk behind me. It's not just an office thing, it's also a spouse and a kids thing. (GAMER DAD) I don't think it's out of line to ask whether posters can be considerate of people who don't have much privacy. If the answer is just "well, you just shouldn't read Caltrops if you fit that description; we refuse to use NSFW tags because we don't hate freedom," I guess that can be a solution, too.
Oh no it's certainly not out of line to ask for content filters when people's sensibilities or privacy are in question. So, Caltrops asked and I agreed. Done deal! But if I ask for anything in the way of a return favor - and keep in mind you dumbshits are bitching about far fewer posts than Jsoh has puked into this forum - I'm an oversensitive bitch angling to censor people. Because I'm not crazy, I have earned the privilege of this set of standards. Apparently I don't even get to complain about it! So this is a deal where I get nothing and make all the concessions. That is fucking retarded and you would never put up with it yourself. Here is what you will do to pay me off for my silence: you're going to get your wife a really nice present, something you know she's had her eye on for a while or would really love, and tell her you want to listen to her thoughts on women's equality and the way that women's concerns are routinely downplayed and/or treated as irrelevant. It's up to her whether or not she talks, of course, but you have to ask. And the present is mandatory.
