Re: That is to say...

The Princess wasn't the one who was imprisoned: Tim was, inside a castle of his own construction (symbolized by the empty house). He was living in a past that never really existed. That's why all the (strangely helpful) "enemies" resembled distorted reflections of his own face. Only by peeling back the comforting lies he'd told himself and acknowledging what actually happened could he hope to break free.
I enjoyed the first four boards/worlds. I stopped playing before the scene where I saw that I was going to have to run around and then help myself as a ghost. I really don't like gameplay where I see, mentally, what I have to do, and what I would do... and then I have to execute it with the controller. I conceptually "got" the world once I was introduced to it, so after that it's just nimbleness with a controller. And my hands are lard-encrusted, whale-like flipper hands that are no good with no DEX. So I didn't get past that. BUT, I learned that having no idea what's coming next is something I like in video games. So there's that. Most games teach me nothing about games. ICJ
