I am also psyched that the mouse you gave me worked without issue on the menu screen for MM.
I'm glad the mouse worked. I knew it *used to* work, but at the show, Brian said it didn't work. But it does work, so, win for us. You, mostly.
I was under the impression that 2600 joysticks worked on the Amiga, but it seems to be a serial port there. Weird, and I need to read more.
2600 joysticks do work on the Amiga. Looking at the machine from the rear, there should be two DB9 ports on the far left. You can either connect two joysticks, or one mouse and one joystick.
I am going to see if I can find something called a "Workbench 1.3" or 1.2 disk. Apparently that's the key to getting some command-line programs in place that will let me take ADF files and make floppies with them. Thanks for your help, Flack. I wouldn't have been able to capture a little of my lost youth without your generosity.
Workbench is, yeah, like Windows and DOS rolled into one for the Amiga. I thought I tossed a Workbench disk in your pile of disks, but maybe not. I'll check and see if I have a copy lying around. You'll need Workbench to do anything except play games from original (bootable) disks.
