Ha ha ha! HOW'S IT GOIN' BEN
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:SchuminWeb#Old_Man_Murray
Old Man Murray • ( talk | logs | history | links | watch | afd | afd2 ) • [revisions] Just a note that I restored this article per a request on my talk page. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 23:11, 21 February 2011 (UTC) And renominated for AFD. This is why AFDs with only one !vote are still valid AFDs, since your close and restore just invalidated a three-week AFD process with no "keep" !votes that correctly should have ended in delete. If there had been no !votes at all, I would have supported your treat-as-PROD close, but once there are !votes on it, even if just one, it needs to be treated as a full AFD. SchuminWeb (Talk) 06:05, 22 February 2011 (UTC) This is why I usually don't like to punch "1 voters". When someone comes to my talk page saying "why did you delete my(sic) article", I can't with a straight face tell them "because there was a consensus to do so here" if the discussion only has 1 !vote. Also, what I did was still consistent with common practice because the admins that do punch these such as Cirt will usually restore these on request, they just don't say so in their closing statements. Note that I will never do this for articles with serious BLP or verifiability issues. However, I did find it odd that this request was this user's only contribution. The original AFD was opened for 21 days. (which is why I didn't also reopen it when I restored the article) You would think that if anybody gave a shit they would have said something in the AFD. I'm wondering if it was someone trolling me to see if I would "keep my word". Perhaps what I should have said was "will restore upon request from someone who is actually here to build an encyclopedia" but that would look bitey. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 14:35, 22 February 2011 (UTC) And I think I suspect what's going on. There's a thread on the Caltrops forums about this with some not nice things to say about you. I won't link it unless you ask me to. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 14:54, 22 February 2011 (UTC) I found it. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Yeah, these people are not interested in building an encyclopedia, but rather just intent on causing trouble. This is why I refused to allow them a forum once the Portal of Evil article was deleted. SchuminWeb (Talk) 17:27, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Here's "what's going on." Schumin got humiliated about 10 years ago on the Portal of Evil because of his awful website. He's trying to extract the most impotent revenge in history by deleting a Wikipedia page.
