Re: It's official: this trailer is for faggots

Did you know Tom Chick is a parent now? Like all recent parents, he can never shut the fuck up about how everything is offensive now.
I can get past this if the filmmakers know what they’re doing, but I’m always going to be more uncomfortable watching something with a kid in danger than I was before I became a father. Is that because I’m father to a son? I doubt it. I think it has more to do with the fact that this is completely haunting and earned my appreciation, as hard as it is for me to watch. It is one of the most beautifully edited pieces of work I’ve seen in a long time. It’s heartbreaking. The image of the girl on her dad’s back will not soon leave me.

A change takes place when you have kids. I have no kids. But games, trailers, movies and stories that depict young children in danger does something to new parents. It's cool. I wouldn't want to come off as making fun of that. Christien Murawski is one of the few people who can say, 'this is heartbreaking to me, but it's still well done.' Good for him! Usually the response is some tear-crafted diatribe on how the media in question should be banned. This is a good day for games journalism. There aren't many, but it made me happy to read that. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey!
