Tetris Party Deluxe DS
If you ever wanted positive proof that modern videogames are aimed at thumbless retards with drool-cups, look no further than Tetris Party Deluxe. Believe it or not, someone doing market research for this game came to the conclusion that Tetris was too hard and the designers subsequently dumbed down the game. I shit you not! So what changes needed to be made to Tetris so that it would not scare off the average videogame consumer today?
A preview of the Next 5 Pieces</B
A Ghost Image of where a piece will land if dropped from its current position. (No, drops are not instantaneous in this game).
Even if you fuck up your ghost-assisted drop you have an entire second to do last minute shifts and rotations to cram your piece into place. (This is much longer than it sounds). And most jaw-dropping of them all:
If you get a piece and decide you aren't ready for that particular shape just yet, click the L button and the shape will be Put on Hold until you're good and ready for it, or even indefinitely! And to add insult to injury, they charge a full $30 for this game!!!
