Re: liberty prime never bugged out for me in the 5 times I played t

also I think the holodat thing that tells you what the final code is can be found right in the same room or something, I figured it out on my own after like 5 seconds
You're telling me that - even though the game gave you every single code you needed before then, even though the game gave you enormous blinkers on the HUD to direct you where to go next, even though the game ALWAYS let you know where to go next... you're telling me that in a time-sensitize puzzle, where the game (for the first time!) decides to NOT do this, you calmly - as someone who has never been to church, mind you - made the connection between Revelations 21:6 and the keypad's code being 216|enter|. You're telling me that you came up with this on the first time while taking 16 rads a second. Even though we live in a culture where keypads almost universally take four numbers instead of three. And - AND - you expect me to believe you went in there yourself rather than sending in Ensign Redshirt Sarah Lyons (keeping in mind that the player magically knows the code if the PC sends Lyons in there, which is a huge disconnect). So even IF you were able to solve that puzzle in five seconds your first playthrough, you're still expecting us to believe that a Cable didn't troll the other person in the group to give their life up first. I have doubts about what you did here, Jsoh! Internet doubts! But maybe you DO read on a grade 30 level. Anyway, it's still terrible puzzle design for the last one in the game. But reading the Quarter to Three thread about the ending showed some links to where the designer basically said he fucked up, but he is okay with that. And yes, he fucked up but I am okay with that. Talking about this elsewhere, the point was made that - because of Gamefaqs - we don't live in a world where puzzles are valid any longer. It's a paradigm shift in gameplay I hadn't really observed before, but here we are. But I think most people would say the main quest in Fallout 3 isn't that great, but those delicious subquests make it all worth it, and I'd agree. Great game. Probably still in my top ten, even with that ending. Looking forward to New Vegas, but specifically, the side quests in New Vegas. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey!
