[/quote] I said it was an alternate method of fixing it. Both fixes are approximately equally easy to implement from my perspective. Also, blaming Ad-Aware for winsock corruption because it removed spyware that had modified it . . . it's a little silly. The problem originates when Ad-Aware removes the thing in a way that it doesn't like. It's not Ad-Aware's fault that spyware is designed to punish you for trying to remove it. Or that spyware is generally badly written shit. What happened to the bill in Congress to make this shit illegal, anyway? Last I heard it had passed the house by something like 4934595 votes to 1.
