When watching this, keep in mind that from the very first hour or two you learn that Bayonetta is "the left eye" that will resurrect some god and she meets a toddler that is obviously her as a kid. It takes 10 minutes of empty anime dialog enunciating every 4th word to tell you nothing new. Pretty much every cutscene in the game is like this: lots of lots of Matrix sequel talking, only even less interesting.
