Question for Caltrops' posters of color
5:25 "Check out these crates, Fifty! You'll find some good shit in there!" So I recently watched Spike Lee's Bamboozled and it got me thinking about Yahtzee's panic-sweat-soaked review of 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. Every time he nervously criticizes 50's stage persona, he flashes a photo of his RL self in the vicinity of a black person with the message "Not Racist" as if going after 50 cent is like going after Al Sharpton. So here's my question: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is a game about a hyperviolent angry black man whose rage can only be stopped by distracting him with shiny bling (A diamond skull? Why not the legendary ancient spinning hubcaps from Xerxes' chariot?) Can a white reviewer call this game an interactive minstrel show for the frat boys, or is that crossing a line?
