I was warned that you can't talk about alcohol, women, or swear around him. He'd fucked over those who had talked about these things in the past. Everyone's scared of him because he's very smart and articulate and his favourite movie is 'V for Vendetta' so he fools you into thinking he's open minded and then he fucks you over for speaking your mind, and because he's Bahrini, he's untouchable. So, I went from sitting next to a homosexual and a guy who drove trucks for 15 years, to sitting next to the most hardcore Muslim I've met at this company. A guy was working with him on a case study about a Bahrini confectionary company a few months ago. The company had been good to us, apparently. They were googling for information and the Bahrini guy came across a blog where the author bad mouthed the company in Arabic - saying their sweets were shit or something. The Bahr*ini calls some agency and because of his "wasta" the blog gets shut down within an hour and the cops turn up at the author's house! He was boasting about it. I don't know what happened to the author, but I share an office with this scary motherfucker now. I just put my headphones on and don't say shit.[/quote]
