Re: Moments like what?

The mage's tower is packed full of stupid puzzle solving that relies on you giving a shit about the American Baldur's Alice bullshit they want you to do. It was fine for like five minutes (the intro level for mage, for instance), but there's no way that people with that as an origin story should be required to revisit it for the endless Fade shapeshift run. What in the fuck where those constellation looking maps? Where outside of resident evil game did that appear to fit?
The summoning portals were optional (if you're talking about it), the map made sense to me, and the shapeshift run sucked! However it was a WELCOME distraction from getting your ass curb stomped everywhere else.
The rhyming tree, accompanying hermit, and forest of Fuck You can go hold hands in hell when it comes to level design. I just don't get that whole genre now that other, superior approaches to problem solving have become dominant. Then again, I hated Braid as well so my spectrum of puzzle loathing is pretty broad.
Yeah, it seems like that. It was all pretty easy shit. The riddles are super easy, the hermit wasn't a puzzle as much to check if you did a side quest or not. Also couldn't you just fucking kill him?
Fuck that. If you have the pc version, it is trivial to hack your save with the toolset and give yourself 999 storage. And by trivial, I mean essential; I have Warden's Keep but even on a fast pc the loadscreens are intolerable when you are just talking about inventory management. Also, by trivial, I mean the toolset can be a pain in the nuts to install if you have steam version, but should otherwise be no problem.
