adventures in punting enemy healers into my warband
so I logged onto my tank for a few minutes just to see if anything was happening in t2 at 4 in the morning, and I saw half a warband was in the area so I joined just to find out that they were in a skirmish with some bad guys right in front of our warcamp home base. naturally I felt like logging off right there but I figured maybe I could farm a tiny amount of renown for a few minutes before I play something else. so I join the fray and noticed after 5 minutes that I hadn't died very much thx to our healers, they were doing a decent job keeping us alive so we could actually get some kills, and these were order healers, on my ironbreaker (lvl 21 female dorf named metalmama ironmaiden, on iron rock, which is pretty fucking badass imho if I do say so myself and I do). I dunno how I got the idea in my head, but I remembered I had a knockback which sent enemies flying, and I remember how much I hated getting knocked back everywhere on my shaman but since we were stuck in front of our warcamp here I figured whatever, rushed behind their healers to kick them right into the middle of my warband. I did this over and over until *their* warband actually ended up falling back, over and over again until they were pushed all the way back to their own warcamp (it's troll country, so the wcs are pretty close together). after comp stomping their asses for about 20 minutes we went and took a couple of keeps. they stopped us from getting spites, but that may have had more to do with the fact that the boss there does giant aoe explosions, or maybe the enemy players just did a better job of defending. we still took both dorf keeps even with enemy players on us. oh and I main tanked everything the whole time. :D I also made sure to opt out of all the rolls since I am not an asshole and don't need bundles of medallions that badly, and I would have been sure to end up with the highest ranking each time.
