You might like it. #1 and #2 have been excellent. Granted, it's just a jailbreak story but still. I'm-a sucker for jailbreaks. But! Spidey's mask gets ripped off with 87 criminals getting a fair look at him in the second one. I've said it before, I'll say it again: picking up comics at all makes my skin crawl because of the entertainment-to-dollar ratio and because of what else is going on in a comic store -- I wish these guys wouldn't make me feel even dumber by showing the guy's face and revealing his identity and inevitably reverting back to the status quo in three months. The only thing worse than a shitty comic is one that never <i>really</i> happened. But somehow the black guy they just can't keep down (Power Man) looking like he's going to be pasting the one guy with a more unfortunate skin color than his in the Marvel Universe (the Purple Man) makes me smile. (Bonus to New Avengers #2 -- see how many panels between Power Man stating that he has "unbreakable skin" and the artist drawing him with cuts across his face.) ICJ, shamefully[/quote]
