If your company had qualified engineers, those engineers wouldn't permit an unqualified technician to call himself an engineer, so I say you work for a small company without any actual engineers. Unimpressive! In properly regulated countries, three years of successful engineering study entitles you to call yourself an Engineering Technologist, and after 4 years, an Engineer. Anything less is a technician. I have an engineering diploma, so I have a better claim to the title than you, even though I've only ever worked in an engineering capacity for less than a month.[/quote]
