Re: Transformers 2 Verdict: Transcends categorization on good-bad axis.

Oh and Jerry, it was Need for Speed Undercover I clocked, not Underground , BTW. It's pretty hilarious because, throughout the game, they were leading you on with innuendo and closeups of your boss Maggy Q, but then in a SURPRISE TWIST she betrays you and you get stuck with the black girl you met at the start of the game. And they must have sensed you'd feel a bit underwhelmed with her, so in the game's final cutscene, the black girls says, "Oh, and by the way, can you drop me off at university? Didn't I tell you? I'm a medical student. *WINK*" Fade to credits!!!! HAAHAHAH! Jerry, have you played that shit?!
I had a feeling you weren't talking about Underground, as that was actually the last Need for Speed I played (Hot Pursuit 2 was the last one I really liked). I think all my complaints about the more recent ones can be found in FSBT's ProStreet thread, but to sum up: unlike OutRun, they're not fun enough to play for relaxation, and unlike Forza, they're not technical enough to serve as punishment for all the terrible life-choices I've made. And based on what I saw of Maggie Q in Southland Tales, I'd say she falls into the same deadzone. <-----Is what I would say if I were Roger Ebert, a mummy. "Sorry Mags, but I can't have just any international sex symbol sticking their tongue in what's left of my mouth!" I'd give her a numerical rating but that might be considered crass, so instead I'll just say she ranks somewhere behind Sandra Oh-mygodwhatswrongwithyourface :(
