Re: I disagree

That'll be hashed out eventually. Do you think SC2 won't be unbalanced at release?
What Relic RTS has ever been balanced out by patches? Brood War may have taken a year (or more), but they got there eventually. Dawn of War 1 & 2 and Company of Heroes get less balanced each patch.
What I'm getting at here is that Dawn of War II wasn't a clone of Dawn of War with prettier graphics, the entire way of playing the game changed. Starcraft II plays exactly like Starcraft with a few minor tweaks, like some shit you can capture for mapwide buffs, new units, and apparently blue Tiberium as well as green.
Can you mail me your advanced beta copy?
Sending your units into a meat grinder isn't a strategy in Dawn of War II.
I feel like Ray talking about 2fort, but if that's what you took away from Starcraft then no wonder Koreans kept beating you. If someone could afford to send nothing but spam dragoons or hydralisks at you then either you were using the wrong units or you let him gain a ridiculous resource advantage. Compare to Dawn of War 2 where the secret to beating space marines is hoping the other guy forgets to hit the 'T' key to activate their "utterly fucking invincible" button. Even if you manage that then you still have to hope he forgets about his group healing button, or his other "utterly fucking invincible" button. If there's a realistic way to beat a mob of tier 1 tactical space marines I'd love to hear it.
