Re: "Philosophy isn't FOR you, go back to QUAKE." <----------------------awesome

Hence why you never even tried, and ended up looking foolish in front of all these people.
I think the idea is that he already tried analyzing it in the past, or maybe imagined himself trying it, or applied philosophical ideas to the problem of analyzing it so as to show what would happen if he did--and then found the analysis to be pointless. And he won't explain to you how this could be the case, because he's already made the best possible effort at teaching this and other important concepts, by publically providing a reading list of the philosophical works he used to approach his own understanding. And if that's not good enough for you, then you simply will not learn these things and that's your problem (icycalm). In the meantime, he cannot explain any important philosophical concept to you. And he can't explain why he can't explain it, either; nor can he explain why he can't explain that. And you can dance around him, asking one imaginative question after another, making one playful joke after another, and he will only be able to respond with the same flat insults that he cannot escape from, for to be a genius is to perform even simple, ordinary actions in the genius's way (Schopenhauer), and the genius's way is repetitively delivered scorn (icycalm (Nietzsche)). Think of all the valuable new disabilities you would have, if you became a genius (Bananadine)! (Plus those euros!)
