Re: That's not what happened

The coda with Ron Moore reading the magazine about the discovery of Mitochondrial Eve is referencing Hera. She is the ancestor of us, modern humans. The Earth discovered in "Revelations" wasn't our Earth. Is the whole thing stupid? Yeah, but not for the reasons you think.
THEY RIPPED IT OFF FROM PARASITE EVE. At least it ties in with Hera being the "alien" who supposedly introduced mitochondria to the human race etc. It's all clearly heavy on the fiction aspect of science fiction, and ties in a little too closely with actual human people and us, but at least the ending wasn't like COULD ALL THIS HAPPEN AGAIN? YES, IF YOU DO NOT BUY CARBON CREDITS etc. I remember a long time ago when Sci Fi would play Saturday anime cartoons, there was one about some big titted chicks on a space ship running around getting raeped and/or killed by alien tentacles or slime creature or whatever the fuck, and then the twist ending was they crash land on earth and found humanity. The BSG ending sort of reminded me of this, excpet of course better than all anime ever.
